THE FOURTEENTH MEREDITH IS COMPLETELY
SOLD OUT OF ALL TICKETS FOR ALL DAYS

Every little last ticket for The Fourteenth Meredith is now thoroughly sold. There are no Friday Entry Tickets, there are no Regular Weekend Tickets, there are no tickets of any kind available, sadly. And there will be none at the gate either. Congratulations to you if you managed to get what you wanted, and our apologies to anyone who missed out due to the early sell-out, especially long-time Meredith goers. This is the fastest the event has sold out in 14 years. That’s really great considering the lineups have been getting nuttier and nuttier, we reckon.

Now, before you go asking Aunty Meredith your question, here are the current FREQUENTLY GIVEN ANSWERS:

DON’T turn up without a ticket hoping to talk your way in. It won’t work. There are no tickets at the gate.

SORRY if all your friends have Friday Tickets and you don’t, but we cannot help you. Friday has a smaller crowd, and all those tickets have been sold. The whole concept of limiting numbers is undermined if we keep selling them.

INTERSTATE DRIVERS can still get free Friday entry as long as THE VEHICLE THEY ARE DRIVING HAS NON-VICTORIAN NUMBER PLATES, and that they have a REGULAR WEEKEND TICKET, and any or all passengers have BOTH Friday and Weekend tickets. Only non-Victorian number plates on the vehicle they are driving will do the trick. For more details go to TICKETS PLEASE.

THE RULES as always are NO GLASS, NO FIRES (no generators, flares or firesticks), NO GAS BOTTLES (even for bar fridges), NO BEAN BAGS, NO ANIMALS, and NO DICKHEADS.

CAMPING IS FREE you don’t need any extra tickets or payments.

YOU CANT STAY SUNDAY NIGHT you must leave by 6pm Sunday please.

YES, JK IS RUNNING NUDE FROM LANGWARRIN TO MEREDITH. He is attempting to break the World Nude Distance Running Record, and will run about 4 hours a day – nude (except for his KT-26 runners) – and hopes to arrive at Meredith on the Sunday. You can now send him a Hero-mail by emailing him at jksnudecrusade@yahoo.com.au . His support team read these out to him to keep him motivated. For more about this – including video updates of JK running – visit THE GIFT page and click on the JK’S NUDE CRUSADE link.

If you are planning on coming this year, and have your ticket, then visit the ESSENTIALS page to make sure you bring, or leave behind, all the things that will make your stay with us more enjoyable.

Remember how you were sitting around at Meredith last year and you all wished you had brought that one pesky thing? Well remember to take that this year, whatever it is. Could be a tarpaulin, banana lounge, raincoat, mobile phone spare battery, flag on a pole to find your tent easy, walkie talkies, more socks, doona instead of sleeping bag, foam mattress, pillow, eskie, face wipes, AM radio for the cricket….whatever. Just bring it. Maybe even put it in the car now so you don’t forget.

For complete details about the lineup visit WHOS PLAYING.

If you aren’t sure how you would get to Meredith this year, check out GETTING THERE.

If you want to know a bit more about what happens there, you really you should talk to someone who has been. Failing that, visit FREQUENTLY GIVEN ANSWERS, EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY, and maybe THE HISTORY, and probably SUPERNATURAL AMPHITHEATRE. A pic tells 1000 words, so try GALLERY too.

Please note that Em For Massage will be operating at the festival again this – highly qualified masseurs and even an Osteopath massaging you for $1.50 per minute. And they’ll have a Foot Spa.

Also, Triple J’s Live Music Team will be on site again, recording many of the artist’s performing, and will play them back, often in the form of a whole concert as a Live At The Wireless, on Triple J during the year. God Bless them, our thanks to Triple J for supporting Meredith and the artists performing there, and for helping the Meredith message reach a lot of people in remote parts of this wide Brown Land.

After you have roamed this site, if you have a question that isn’t covered in FREQUENTLY GIVEN ANSWERS, ESSENTIALS or BE IN IT, you can ASK AUNTY MEREDITH.

We have opened up a couple more campgrounds this year so there will be even more space - some in Bush Camping, and some past the Top Paddock for those who like to Get Away From It All.
The Pink Flamingo Bar will enjoy a makeover, and will stock the finest vodka in the world, made to exacting standards. Yes, URSUS vodka and Roter will be Official Vodka Suppliers to The Pink Flamingo

See you there for some Modern Love.

Team Meredith

YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A ROCK STAR TO GO ON A WORLD TOUR!

STA Travel is proud to bring the Rock 'Round the World Challenge' back to Meredith. Rock ‘Round the World Challenge is a fabulous way to have a bit of fun, get yourself some exercise (just a little) & check out what’s happening around the festival. And you’ll also get the chance to win a brilliant ‘Round the World ticket, drawn on the Sunday, just before The Gift.

So what do you have to do? Head on over to the STA Travel Kombi Van (in front of the Meredith Eye) and grab yourself a passport. Sling it around your neck and get set for your ‘Round the World adventure! STA Travel staff at the Kombi van will tell you how to complete the Challenge by getting your passport ‘stamped’ at different spots around the festival

Once you’ve completed the Challenge, fill in the details on your passport and drop it in the entry box back at the Kombi, and voila – you’re in with a chance to win a ‘Round the World ticket, courtesy of STA Travel! The winner will be announced on the main stage just before the Meredith Gift on Sunday....

Just to be clear: SOMEONE AT THIS YEAR’S MEREDITH WILL WIN A FREE ROUND THE WORLD TRIP. Not bad eh.
